Expanding our selection of top-quality electronic door locks, Home Controls is proud to announce that we now offer the latest Z-Wave deadbolts and leversets from Yale Security. As part of the Yale Real Living product line, these residential locks bring over a century of innovation to the modern, connected home.

  • Choose between touchscreen vs push-button keypads
  • Deadbolts come in both key-free vs keyed designs
  • Key-free designs eliminate risk of lock picking and bumping
  • Available in 3 colors: Oil Rubbed Bronze, Bright Brass, Satin Nickel
  • Z-Wave module is either built-in or included as a plug-in component

All locks are battery-powered, so no wiring is required. They’re designed to replace traditional locks on most standard interior or exterior doors with only a screwdriver and the included hardware. Programming is easily accomplished either at the lock via the touchscreen, or through your Z-Wave controller.

  1. Has anyone used a Yale Z-Wave lock long term? I’m curious as to their reliability.

    • Our tech support department offered this response: Our overall opinion is “we-like-it-a-lot.” We can’t remember any returns, and the touchscreen version has a nice look and feel. Many of our installers tend to lean toward Yale over competitors.
