PCS New Streamlined PulseWorx UPB Module Designs Are Cool

PCS PulseWorxPowerline Control Systems (PCS) has made design changes to several of their PulseWorx UPB lighting and appliance control modules – some simple and others more dramatic. The new modules are in stock at Home Controls and shipping now!

Both the PulseWorx UPB Plug-In Appliance Module (AM1) and the PulseWorx UPB Plug-In Lamp Module (LM1) received a facelift. They now sport a new streamlined look. The Lamp Module‘s functionality has also expanded to support incandescent, LED, fluorescent or magnetic low voltage loads.

The same design update has been applied to the PulseWorx UPB Powerline Interface Module (PIM), both the RS232 and USB models (PIM-R/PIM-U). This new design features a pass-through outlet that allows you to plug in devices that do not require UPB control!

The most dramatic change is in the PulseWorx UPB Wire-In Passive Phase Coupler (PPC-1). PCS says: “The PPC-1 Passive Phase Coupler has gone on a diet and now fits in a single gang box. It is entirely made out of plastic for extra safety.”

PCS also announced that several of their other modules will soon be sporting these new designs, including the PulseWorx UPB Output Control Module, the PulseWorx UPB Input Control Module, and the PulseWorx UPB Timed Event Controller.
