CE Pro magazine just announced in a story to release of HomeSeer’s new HomeTroller-SEL home automation controller.
The story is aptly titled “HomeSeer Lowers Cost of Investment for Homeowners Getting into Automation.” Compared to HomeSeer’s top-of-the-line controller that sells for $2,695, the new HomeTroller-SEL’s price of $399.95 is definitely a bargain.

It allows homeowners to remotely access the power of cloud-based tools while keeping important information locally to ensure safety and reliability.
The product is designed to work with industry standards including Z-Wave, and products such as light switches, garage-door openers, thermostats, water valves, security cameras, audio/video controllers and other products from top manufacturers like Cooper, Honeywell, Schlage, Kwikset, Yale, Fibaro, Linear, Evolve, Aeon Labs, RCS, Baldwin and many others.
The HomeTroller-SEL is scheduled to ship in October at an MSRP of $400. The company adds it will also offer a step-up PRO version of the product.
