Original DoorBell Fon DP28 Series is Back!

Home Controls is excited to reintroduce a revised version of the DP28 door station series of the DoorBell Fon door answering system. This very popular version was originally discontinued in July of 2010, and we’ve missed ‘em!

The DoorBell Fon replaces the traditional doorbell to let you answer the door from any telephone, even cordless phones. The DP28 design is very similar to the original look, and is available in the F Series (2-gang size) and the M Series (M&S size). The reintroduced metallic door stations are available in the new Black and Bronze colors in addition the the original Brass and Aluminum.

Note: The DP28 does not have a camera housing. This option was exclusive to the DP38 third generation door stations, also available at Home Controls.

Doorbell Fon Updates Their Metal Door Station Design

Home Controls is excited to introduce the third generation of metal door stations: DoorBell Fon 3G. The new designs are sure to be attractive to existing users as well as customers new to the DoorBell Fon product line.

The appearance has changed, but the sizes remain the same; the door stations will still fit in a two-gang masonry box, a Music & Sound box, or a Nutone IR6 or IA-70 box. Some improvements include:

• The PC board is now enclosed in a plastic housing.
• Now includes a camera housing to fit a pinhole camera.
• The red LED has bee removed, and the actual button lights up when it is pressed.
