New Universal Transmitter for Dakota Alert 2500

The Dakota Alert 2500 Wireless Universal Transmitter works with all Dakota Alert 2500 wireless products to provide a variety of wireless solutions. As a weatherproof push-button transmitter, the unit can be used as a doorbell or panic button. The transmitter also features NO/NC relay inputs for connection to an external sensor, such as a motion sensor or water sensor. Furthermore, a magnetic reed switch allows you to monitor a door, window, mailbox, etc. when used in conjunction with any sensor contact. Upon activation, the transmitter sends a signal to your receiver up to 2,500 feet away.

Wireless Motion/Vehicle Detection Up To Half Mile!

Home Controls is excited to add a new Dakota Alert product line to our collection! The 2500 series is a wireless motion and vehicle detection system that boasts a range of up to half mile!

The DCMA-2500 is a feature filled wireless motion detector/receiver kit with a half mile radio range. The motion detecting sensor operates on one 9-volt battery (not included) and will detect a person or vehicle passing by out to about 50 feet. The sensor will then send a signal back to the receiver up to half mile away. The receiver has four form “C” relay outputs and one 12 VDC output. The output durations are adjustable up to 10 minutes. The receiver will play one of four different tunes that are selected at the transmitter so that different zones can be distinguished. The receiver is powered by a 12VDC transformer. The receiver also offers a 5 minute exit delay so you can leave the house without disturbing any occupants as well as a reminder beep and counter function.

The DCMA-2500 kit can be used by homeowners and business owners alike as a driveway alarm, entrance alert, back yard monitor, etc. Installation is very simple and will only take a few minutes and can be done by virtually anyone. Read more »
