Scheduled Preset Feature Saves Energy Instantly

Gig energy drains like porch and yard lighting typically use higher wattage circuits that burn over 8 hours each night. Schedule them to operate normally for a few hours nightly, then schedule them to dim for the remainder of the night. That way, there is still lighting for security, but less energy is consumed. This solution requires these components:

RF Handheld Remote Controller Programmer/Timer: The controller provides the capability to program the system, group lights into areas, and schedule when lights will automatically operate – an advantage for lowering electrical usage. Additional features include scene creation, dusk/dawn astronomical scheduling, room-to-room control profiles and more. It includes rechargeable batteries, stand, and battery charger. Your installer will use it to create a secure system that is optimized for energy conservation. Leviton requires at least 1 device per household.

4-Button RF Zone Controller for Multi-Location Control with IR Remote Capability: This wall-mounted controller features 4 toggle buttons that can be assigned to control groups of lights (areas) throughout the home. The bottom button allows dimming and brightening of the most recently activated button. Includes IR capability for integrating with IR remote controls. Ideal for smart lighting control of entryway, garages, porches, utility rooms, hallways and more. Leviton recommends a minimum of 1 device for this application.

Leviton recommends at least 2 devices for this application.

300W Scene Capable Plug-in Lamp Dimming Module: For excellent energy saving benefits, use this plug-in module to control table or floor lamps. It converts non-dimming lamps into dimmable lamps. Designed for incandescent bulbs, but may work with selected dimming compact fluorescent bulbs. Leviton recommends at least 1 device for this application.

Important Installation Consideration: Vizia RF + is designed for residential applications up to 7,500 sq. ft. and not to exceed 128 devices per system. Devices are intended to be installed within 30 feet of each other, otherwise repeaters may be required.
