Remember how great it was to receive college credit for something we would have done anyway? I don’t know, like kayaking lessons, an “educational” trip to Spain… It was almost like earning a bonus or getting something for free!
Well, it seems grown men are just as excited about earning Cedia CEU credits for attending the hands-on Residential Integrator School (RIS): Design & Installation class! Now that every Cedia member who completes the course is eligible to receive 5 credits, positive feedback is coming from everywhere.
After all, many of you plan to attend anyway. But now the course serves double-duty! I’m telling you, I had no idea the power the credits possess. So the real question is:
How can this concept of “double-duty” be utilized in other areas of our business? And how can it be utilized in your business?
One idea is to develop a client loyalty program of some sort. A program to give your clients that extra ounce of excitement, or the feeling that they’re receiving a bonus. Perhaps they receive “points” for every dollar spent. Or maybe they receive an invitation to your annual VIP client dinner after their 3rd project with you.
Mmmm…what would make your clients feel the same excitement you feel in receiving Cedia CEU credits for attending RIS?
